We will be hosting a booth at the STEM EXPO, stop by and say hi! The STEM Expo is a free, interactive educational event hosted by DISD that celebrates and promotes learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics for students and families.
February 16 • 10 am - 3 pm
Campers will be able to use a variety of tools and tech to design and make their own bookmarks. Will they 3D print them? Laser engrave them in leather? Vinyl cut them? Yes, yes, and yes!
March 1st & 8th • 1 pm - 4 pm
Come learn how to do Computer Aided Design (CAD), slice, and 3D print your design over the course of 2 workshops.
This is open to National Math Stars who are at least 10 years old who will attend both workshops.
March 16-20 • 9am - 4pm
This is a unique opportunity for our most responsible, self-directed, and exceptionally bright students to design, prototype, and build their own advanced projects.
April 11-26 • 1pm - 3pm
Come learn how to sew, use fiber, and filament to solve problems! During these 5 sessions, students will learn how to use fabric and filament to solve a real-world problem theyʼve identified.
Every Wednesday • 5 pm - 7:30 pm
Our crew builds weather balloon kits to launch across Texas camps, collecting real data to outsmart floods! We launched our first balloon in late November and are now prototyping our own. Join us!
