-Kids should bring lunch, a snack and a refillable water bottle each day.

-They should also have a way to tie long hair back and wear closed-toe shoes.

Camp Launchpad!

Camp Launchpad offers the exciting opportunity to dive into cutting-edge technology and build something truly amazing. Rising 5th graders and older can choose to join us for a single week, focusing on a specific skill, or immerse yourself in the full session and take on the ultimate challenge: designing, building, and racing your very own 3D-printed remote-controlled car that they can keep at the end of the session!

Session 1

- June 2-6 CAD design, 3D Printing & Assembly
- June 9-13 Electronics & Coding
- June 16-20 Laser Cutting
- June 23-27 Videography & Editing

Session 2

- July 14-18 CAD design, 3D Printing & Assembly

(Almost at capacity - register now to secure a spot!)

- July 21-25 Electronics & Coding
- July 28-Aug 1 Laser Cutting
- Aug 4- 8 Videography & Editing

We are for tinkerers and brainiacs, we are NOT just childcare: please bear that in mind before you register.

Successful campers at Camp Launchpad are:

Mature: It looks like a kiddo who is at least 10 years old regardless of what grade they are going into next year. Beyond that, does your kiddo…

Make good use of time while waiting their turn?
Share with peers?
Anticipate implications of their actions?
Encourage (and not distract) their peers?
Stay open to critical feedback from an adult or another peer?

Use tools and supplies for their intended camp projects and camp side quests (not for their personal projects)? We're NOT printing fidget toys in 3D Printing camp!
Clean up after themselves at lunch and at the end of each day (with reminders and time given :))?

Resilient. Launchpad challenges even the most gifted kids. Because campers are mostly teaching themselves incredibly challenging skills, and then trying out whether they've taught themselves those skills effectively once they apply them to the project, there will be plenty of failures and frustration during the course of the week. Campers cheer “I did a thing!” when they succeed at something because each step is challenging.

Cost for Camp Launchpad

$300/week for our pilot summer. Additional $50/wk for 8am dropoff.
