Gifted youth ages 11–18 can follow their interests at Launchpad’s makerspace and idea lab in West Dallas. Homeschooled crewmembers can work on independent projects during and after the school day with access to tools, peers and mentors.
Explore coding, electronics, 3D design, fabrication, art and other interests as a project develops. Students learn through research, testing, problem-solving and collaboration.
A parent or guardian requests an application. Launchpad sends the next step, and the prospective crewmember completes it. Admission is reviewed separately. Families and crewmembers decide how much time they spend at Launchpad; individual projects may involve different commitments.
This is project-based membership access, not a fixed class timetable or a school-credit program. Start your request through the on-site Apply page.
